The Yadugiri Higher Primary School

This is an appeal for donations for the Yadugiri Higher Primary School, now in its 15th year of operations. It started with two dozen kids in kindergarten classes and now has a little over 220 students in classes ranging from kindergarten to the 8th grade, receiving free quality education. 

Had there been no real problems of space the School would have grown much bigger. From the beginning the School was able to make use of a building opposite the School belonging to a charity which would like to acquire it back for its own numerous needs. To be able to vacate and give back the building space to the charity, Yadugiri School will have to construct an additional 

floor above the ceiling of the existing two-storey building. This hs been proved feasible by civil engineers that were consulted.  

This letter appeals for donations to enable undertaking the building of additional class rooms at an estimated cost of Rs. 15 lakhs or about $24,200. This amount would also be used 

a) Modernize the physics, chemistry, biology and computer laboratories with new equipment 

b) Provide more elbow and leg room to students in class rooms which appear 

inadequate to accommodate all children.

c) Buy ergonomically sound new furniture that are not inconvenient to users.

d) Undertake new facilities such as bath rooms to comply with requirements of the local and state education authorities. 

e) Expand facilities for teachers and school management for effective instruction.

Under the visionary management of Melkote Inc. Yadugiri Higher Primary School has been
