This piece is a journal of my son's speech development from the birth
to his first word. You will notice a gradual but significant change of
vocal patterns of a nine-months old baby arranged in reverse-
chronological order. All sounds are recordings from many days of
conversations between mom, dad, and son. It is my hope that this piece
will make you experience (or remember) the dynamic, challenging,
overwhelming, and rewarding life of novice parents.
