Zowie is home!
She got a call this afternoon from a woman a couple of blocks away saying she had her dog there.
Apparently poor Zowie was extremely tired and hungry, and her paws are very tender and sore from running for a week.
The woman went out and saw her laying in the yard...she went over and picked her up and carried her into her house where she saw her tags and made the call to Sandy.
This is such a relief to Sandy and to me....Sandy got a number of phone calls about sightings and she followed them up right away. She had just come home after another didn't pan out and she said she just sat down and cried.
I was so afraid the dog wasn't going to be found alive after so many cold nights outside, but somehow she made it!
She only wandered a few blocks away, which is really amazing. We're so surprised she didn't find her way home, since she goes out walking all over
the neighborhood all of the time.
Thanks for all of your support and emails, etc.

PLEASE remember, if you have FOUND an animal it is not legal to keep it with out first making a documented attempt to find the owner. The local newspaper,
craigslist.com, K9Ambe...@Yahoogroups.com , K9Ambe...@Googlegroups.com does not charge any fee’s to place a found notice. Please do the right thing. Not only does the family probably miss the pet, the pet is very likely missing their family.
