We are missing a much-loved, friendly female black and white (although in sun and some light she looks a deep brown color) lab/ pitbull mix. She jumped the fence on April 6 while visiting on Skipwith Road near Tallwood, Forest and Anoka and Alvarado Roads. She was following another dog and went across Skipwith we think to the Anoka side. We have been to and called all the local shelters and posted flyers and ads with Craigslist and the Times Dispatch with no results. We have been to, called or faxed most of the veterinary clinics in the yellow pages except Chesterfield. She is approximately 4 years, 47 pounds and has been recently spayed by the SPCA. The white markings are as follows: next to her nose, on her feet and extending up her right front leg, chest with some going up to her neck on the right side, and underneath. She did not have her tags on. She is a patient of the Lakeside Animal Hospital because her owners live in Lakeside (my son). I am going to attempt to send you some pictures that he sent my e-mail but they might have to be separate e-mails. Please let me know if you receive them. Please let us know if you have any information about her. We are missing her very much.

Not only does the family probably miss the pet, the pet is very likely missing their family.
