Dear Friends,

Serene came into my office one day and started talking as if she had all of her life ahead of her. When I found out that she had terminal cancer, I immediately took to her. For the next 6 months, I visited her often to talk and to encourage her. Instead, each time I came away feeling more encouraged by her than the other way around.

She had indomitable spirit and and a courage that came because she wanted to beat her condition. In more ways than one, she came away a victor. The Doctors gave her 6 months but she lived another 8+ more years.

In the intervening years, her life's example touched many and encouraged them greatly. I was one of them. A few days before she passed away, I did a video interview of her. The link is given here. Listen to her and see what she says about life in general and why appreciating the people around us should always be a priority.

I am so glad I prayed with her at the end of that interview and for a few moments, I saw that perfect peace come upon her. Be blessed as you listen to her words. Click on the link below to watch the youtube

Success is not a distant faraway dream. If you want it badly enough and if you work at it hard enough, it will come to you; sometimes even when you have given up thinking that it is no longer possible. To the man or the woman who refuses to give up on his or her dreams, that person will smell the roses and taste of the goodness of the harvest......
