When I hear BN Leaders still talking arrogantly of their past (all tainted with dirt and filth - look at Mahathir and Shahrizat) and inciting fear in Malaysians, I feel utterly disgusted. I am reminded of the closing words of the song, "When will they ever learn, when will they e...ver learn?"

2... In 1985 in Sabah on the night of the State Elections, the then Chief Minister threw a huge garden party at his house in Kota Kinabalu and had a Scoreboard that read 45-3. He was one of the most arrogant men you could come across and he thought he could do no wrong. Everyone who was someone of importance in the community was there. Food and drinks flowed freely and there was much laughter and gaiety.

3... Then the Election results started coming in and as the first ten seats' results  came in, there was a hushed silence. The State elections was becoming a debacle and the Berjaya party lost almost everything. As the realization came that the seat of Government had been lost, all the cronies and businessmen who had gathered there in all their finery and rolex watches started slipping away.

4... It was a huge landslide victory for the Opposition and as the wounds were licked, the hunched figure of the Chief Minister sat shell-shocked with a few remaining cronies. Finally he had reaped what he had sowed. He became such a pitiful old man and in that one night, he aged twenty years. His pride had finally caught up with him. The people were so tired of him they wanted to sock it to him and that was what they did.

5... This time round, there are some clear parallel trends for Malaysia. The "Old fart" of Malaysia is still talking as loudly as ever. Whatever vestige of a legacy he had will all be gone. Doesn't he know that he should best keep his big mouth shut? After all the terrible divisions he has festered and the policies of corruption he has engendered, he should stand aside above the fray. On his death-bed, he will be a completely devastated man knowing that all his wealth cannot be taken away with him. He should be using these ill-gotten gains to help the poor and do what he can for the unfortunate. Alas the stupid vanity of man. They win but in winning they lose.....

6... Unfortunately Leopards find it really hard to change their spots. That ex-Chief Minister of Sabah who fell so hard from grace after a few quiet years started talking venomously again in recent times. In his old age, it sounded more like whimpers as no one even bothers with him. The tolerate him like a sore wound that must be given room to pour out its ugly pus and he lives this day having no one to listen to him. He is the second old fart after Malaysia's pre-eminent old fart. Hopefully, the Old fart of Sarawak will soon join this list.

7... What do these old farts have in common. they spew out a lot of hot air which smells really bad and they want people to smell it. No one really bothers with them. Out of Malaysian's respect for the old, they tolerate the stink that these ugly greedy old farts emit.

8... Thankfully, Malaysia have so many other breaths of fresh air - it is time for us to forget about the past and these perpetrators of lust and greed and corruption and move on to where we can all join hands to build the new Malaysia - where unity and love and hope can emerge afresh.

IT IS TIME FOR CHANGE TO COME!!! Let these old farts wallow in their vomit.
