goodbye. But that doesn't stop the heat! Especially if that heat is
spelled J-P-L. Which it wouldn't be but this is a metaphor and you can
roll with it and stop yapping about the way "heat" is spelled. Idol
Camp, Live Performances, a Benefit, the lead in a Musical and more for
Jon "I Didn't Start the Fire" Louis.
Let's go way back to the beginning of August. Jon got back from Idol
Camp where he lit some sparks. Jon was a big hit and enjoyed working
with all the musically gifted campers. Before he left, he set it on
fire when he got onstage with Macy Gray.
Back to California, where he played some smokin' acoustic sets at
Borders and then rocked with his band at the Roxy and more clubs along
the left coast. His trail takes him to more Borders stores in Arizona
this September. Check the website to confirm dates in your vicinity,
Arizoners.
As you all know, Jon's got a sweet side and he played in a benefit
August 13th. It was called For the Love of the Lily and it was to
benefit orphans in China. It was hosted by Bill Mason, Tim McGraw's
drummer. Jon was hot, the show was awesome, and he was glad to help
such a great cause.
But what else? Did you read "Musical" earlier? Jon's about to burn up
the stage in the musical "Godspell." Redlands Civic Light Opera -
September 13-23. He's got the lead in "Godspell." You just might of
heard of the character he's playing. Jon's voice is going to torch
the rafters and burn it all down. If you're near or even if you're
not, you don't want to miss this.

July, no worries. You'll see his smiling mug soon. The website has
