The JPL Newsletter
February 2005
Welcome to the first installment of the Jon Peter Lewis Newsletter! Jon
has been busy working on his music and setting up shop, online and
offline, so we have much to report.

Jon is happy to present his first solo musical release, "Turn to Grey,"
to his fans. The new single, exhibiting Jon's own stylish blend of
mellow blues & funk, is now available to download at jplewismusic.com.
You can sample a clip of "Turn to Grey" in the audio section, as well
as clips of Jon's rockin' "What's Wrong" and "Stories From
Hollywood." Don't forget to drop by the message board and share your
thoughts on the new music with other JPL fans.

MTV reporter Corey Moss recently interviewed Jon and wrote an upbeat
article called "Jon Peter Lewis' Only Use For Pens Is Writing Songs,"
featured at MTV.com on Feb. 8th, 2005. In the article, Jon talks about
writing songs for his upcoming album and the style of music he plans to
incorporate. "I did well on [American Idol] with Elvis Presley and Van
Morrison, two people with soul voices who did rock and roll," he said,
"so that's the direction I'm going." MTV also posted clips of Jon's 3
new songs, which you can check out along with the full article at:

The latest JPL online journal entry mentions the fact that Jon is
getting a band together for live shows. That's right, JPL fans, LIVE
SHOWS! If you've cruised Jon's site recently, you may have also
noticed that Jon has written himself a new bio.
For anyone who missed the "Saturday Morning Chat with Jon" on January
8th or January 29th, you can see the questions and Jon's responses on
the message board. Drop by and see what's new!
