Job Objectives: Being
integrated into a Drake and Scull International MEP delivery team, the
objective of the Commissioning Manager is to plan and implement the
commissioning process from the design stage through the construction
stage and then finally to execute the commissioning of all systems and
interfaces in accordance with the relevant regulations and standards and
within project timeline restraints. Responsibilities
and duties: the responsibilities and duties of the Commissioning
Manager will differ throughout the project phases. Below are the key
responsibilities and duties for each project phase; Pre-Construction / Design Phase • Review
and comment on design drawings and raise formalized queries as to the
commissionability of design and/or there compliance with the relevant
regulations and standards. • To
review the technical submittal of equipment and systems and ensure its
compliance with project requirements in terms of commissioning • Produce
the project ‘Installation, Testing and Commissioning Management Plan’
defining the methods of commissioning, HSE documentation and strategies
to be adopted. • Manage
and oversee the production of all operation and maintenance manuals.
This will be followed through to the final collation and incorporation
of information into the manuals and issuance to the client at project
completion. • Develop the project testing and commissioning program inline with project approved program of work. • Develop
the testing and commissioning team organogram and define key personnel
to be retained within the project team to oversee the completion of
commissioning activities. • Manage
and oversee the production and approval of all system and system
interface testing and commissioning method statements in coordination
with MEP Subcontractors/Suppliers and Vendors. • Ensure that site commissioning activities adhere to the approved method statements. Construction / Pre-Commissioning
• Ensure that pre-commissioning activities are carried out in accordance with the relevant regulations and standards. • Reporting of commissioning progress to the Client. This will follow through to project completion.
Testing and Commissioning • Oversee
the full testing and commissioning process coordinating with all
relevant parties to ensure compliance with the project program. • Liaison and coordination with the relevant local authorities where required. • Manager and oversee the planning and execution of client training

Job Objectives: Responsible
for keeping people free from danger, risk, or injury in the workplace
and minimize losses due to injuries and property damage by implementing,
Maintaining and Improving the HSE Management Systems requirements at
his project(s) within DSI, prepare and ensure implementation of HSE
Plan, Environmental Impact Assessment, Hazard Identification and Risk
Assessment and other project related HSE documentation and technical
requirements, targeting compliance to the international standards, and
local regulations and legislations. Responsibilities and duties: To support and promote all HSE policies and procedures implemented by the company Administer the HSE related policies on the site.
Review on a continuous basis the HSE policy and HSE systems and implementation of procedures on the project. Coordinate with HSE Officers for preparation of the project specific HSE plan. Participate in HSE audits and inspections periodically
Monitor and review accident statistics and advise the team as and when needed. Lead the investigation team in case of serious accidents or incidents. Advise management on revisions to HSE policy.
Carry out regular and random safety inspections in site and record results. Advise site personnel concerning safe working practices and potentially dangerous occurrences. Identify safety-training needs for both management and operatives.
Arrange necessary safety training and conduct in-house or with outside parties. Compile and record safety statistics. Develop and implement safe systems of work for the project through safety staff.
Overall
analysis of the safety system in the company and regular information to
the management where required for additional support/preventive actions
required. Commit to improve safety on a yearly basis, through quantifiable safety data. Reports infractions and give suggestions to the Project Manager for corrective action. |

Job Objectives: HSE
Engineer is responsible for keeping people free from danger, risk, or
injury in the workplace and minimize losses due to injuries and property
damage by implementing, Maintaining and Improving the HSE Management
Systems requirements at his project(s) within DSI, prepare and ensure
implementation of HSE Plan, Environmental Impact Assessment, Hazard
Identification and Risk Assessment and other project related HSE
documentation and technical requirements, targeting compliance to the
international standards, and local regulations and legislations. Responsibilities and duties: To support and promote/champion all HSE policies and procedures implemented by the company
Administer of all HSE policies, procedures and project HSE staff. Preparation of the project specific HSE plan and all related documents and manuals. Participate in HSE audits and inspections periodically and ensure the completion of the planned inspections and auditing.
Advise site personnel concerning safe working practices and potentially dangerous occurrences. Control the use of Hazard Controls including the PPE as per the company policies. Investigate
any accident that may occur in his project(s) and communicate the
accident report to all concerned parties with supporting documents and
photos. Monitor and review accident statistics and advise the team as and when needed Plan and implement HSE training that is necessary for the project with keeping all supporting records.
Ensure
keep an updated HSE statistics and records for all projects and
business unit, and Report as planned to concerned parties all HSE
matters as per company format and policies. Continuous inspections and auditing for the HSE for project(s) Ensure that tools and equipment used at sites are frequently inspected and safe.
All other tasks that may be reasonably requested by your management team. Committed
to DSI HSE requirements and all applicable legislations and contractual
requirements affecting the HSE activities at project site and
administrative offices. Person Requirements: Ability to communicate fluently in English. Arabic would be an advantage. Computer literate to an advanced level.
Should be well educated and trained in at least one of the following: Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSAS 18001:2007). United Stated Construction Safety (29 CFR 1926).
Other suitable HSE internationally recognized management systems. |

Job Objectives: Implementing,
Maintaining and Improving the quality management system requirements at
his/her operation area, division or project within DSI, prepare and
ensure implementation of PQPs, ITPs and other project related quality
documentation required, targeting compliance to the international
standards, and local regulations and legislations. Responsibilities and duties: Daily administrative management of the department staff (all QA/QC Engineers and Inspectors) The Day to Day monitoring and maintenance of Quality Management System ISO 9001:2000
Provide
inputs, estimates for QA/QC equipment and facilities, man-hour
estimates and staffing recommendations, as appropriate for
pre-qualification and tender purpose. Interact with the project sites and departments in Quality requirements and it conformance. Implement the internal audit process for the QMS as planned by QHSE department.
Ensure
that the company QHSE system is regularly reviewed for its continuing
effectiveness and that adherence to procedures is assessed by means of
planned and independent internal audits. Frequent communication with the certification and governmental bodies regarding the QMS requirements. Review and monitor the KPI established for every activity
Report to the area management and corporate QHSE manager the status of the QMS management system. Provide advice, guidance and training on QMS matters within the company and where appropriate within individual projects.
Coordinate with the consultants employed by DSI for any of the QMS concerns. Attend training and seminars related to QMS. QMS visits to other similar size companies or from same aiming to benchmark our QHSE Management System.

administrative offices. Person Requirements: Ability to communicate fluently in English/Arabic Arabic is desirable To be a qualified internal / external quality management system auditor as per (ISO 9001:2000)

This will include surveillance reports, non conformance reports and verification of corrective actions. § All other tasks that may be reasonably requested by your management team at any given time.
