Attention Faculty: In recognition of National Teachers Appreciation
Day, teachers please help yourself to a treat in the main office.

AP Test-Takers: If you are taking a morning exam, you must be in the
main lobby by 7:15 a.m. Afternoon exams must be in the main lobby by
11:15 a.m.

Test Table: Closed period 6.

Health Office:
- If you are scheduled for a physical today, please be on time for
your appointment.
- If you are interested in a fall sport, pick up a permission slip in
the Nurse’s Office.


CLUBS & ACTIVITIES

Environment: Meeting today at 2 p.m. in Rm. 253.

Book Club: Introduction meeting today in Rm. 217. All are welcome.

Spanish Honor Society: No meeting today. Next meeting on Tues, May
13th.

Dance Club: Next meeting will be Thursday at 2 pm. in the gym lobby.

NHS: Mandatory meeting of this year’s junior members on Thursday at
1:50 p.m. in Rm. 128. Nominations for next year’s officers will be
held.

Community Service:
- Planting Barrels in Hopewell on Sat, May 17th at 9 a.m…sign up in
the main office.
- Mrs. Deppe needs volunteers for Friday after school and evening.
Sign up in the gym.

JJ Senior Class:
- Senior Prom will be held at West Point, Eisenhower Hall on May 16th,
7 p.m. – 12 a.m. Tickets are on sale for $80. Be sure to drop off
any early dismissal notes to the attendance office by Wed, May 14th.
- Field day is May 20th. Teams of 10, minimum 3 girls. Sign up
sheets in the main office.

Freshman Class Trip: Field trip to Dorney Park on May 31st. Flyers
in your English classroom and main office. Spots are limited, so act
fast!

Renaissance Trip: Madame Tussauds Wax Museum on May 20th...Details
and permission slips in main office.

Cystic Fibrosis Walk: June 1st at Bowdoin Park. Please see Ms.
Oldenborg in Rm. 138 if interested in joining a team or making a
donation. Flyers in the main office.

Rachel’s Challenge: This week we are looking at the first of Rachel’s
Challenges: eliminating prejudice. Today’s quote is from Mohandas
K. Gandhi: “I do not want my house to be walled in on all sides and
my windows to be stifled. I want the cultures of all lands to be
blown about my house as freely as possible. But I refuse to be blown
off my feet by any”.

Track: Meet today. Bus leaves at 2:15 p.m.
