Unmasking The
Dragons
Each year in October during the full moon over 200,000 people come from
all part of Thailand to the little town of Phon Phisai and near by
villages to view the demonic activity in the Mekong River. (It was here
that many Laotians and Hmong Tribesmen were slaughtered while trying to
escape from the communists after the fall of Laos in 1975.) Every year
for 2 days in October that correspond with a Buddhist holiday
red
globe like projectiles
(
see photo) come up out of the water and disappear. They are called,
Naka [Dragon]
Fire Balls. This has been an
annual occurrence for as long and the old timers can remember. The people
believe the projectiles come from dragons in the river. One of the
villages in the area gets the name,City Of The Chief Dragon, from this
phenomenon. Thai people, especially the locals, worship and are very
proud of their dragon.

Here are some Scriptural facts on the issue:
Genesis 1:
26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness:
and
let them have dominion
over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and
over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing
that creepeth upon the earth.
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created
he him; male and female created he them.
28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and
multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and
have dominion over the fish of
the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that
moveth upon the earth.
Genesis 2:
16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying,
Of every tree of the garden thou mayest
freely eat:
17
But of the tree of the knowledge
of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day
that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
Genesis 3:
1 Now
the serpent was more subtil
than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And
he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said,
Ye
shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
2 And the woman said unto the serpent,
We may eat of
the fruit of the trees of the garden:
3
But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the
garden,
God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye
touch it, lest ye die.
4 And
the serpent said
unto the woman,
Ye shall not surely
die:
5
For God doth know that in the day ye eat
thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods,
knowing good and evil.
6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that
it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise,
she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her
husband with her; and he did eat.
Romans 6:
16 Know ye not, that
to whom ye yield yourselves servants to
obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto
death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
Matthew 4:
1 Then was
Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be
tempted of the devil.
2 And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was
afterward an hungred.
3 And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of
God, command that these stones be made bread.
4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by
bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of
God.
5 Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him
on a pinnacle of the temple,
6 And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down:
for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and
in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy
foot against a stone.
7 Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt
the Lord thy God.
8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain,
and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of
them;
9 And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou
wilt fall down and worship me.
10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is
written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou
serve.
11 Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and
ministered unto him.
Isaiah 14:
12 How art thou fallen from heaven,
O
Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the
ground, which didst weaken the nations!
13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I
will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the
mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds;
I will be like the most
High.
15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the
pit.
16 They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider
thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did
shake kingdoms;
17 That
made the world as a
wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened
not the house of his prisoners?
Psalm 74:
12 For God is my King of old, working salvation in the midst of the
earth.
13 Thou didst divide the sea by thy strength: thou brakest the
heads of
the dragons in the
waters.
14 Thou brakest
the heads of
leviathan in pieces, and gavest him to be meat to
the people inhabiting the
wilderness.
Job 41:
1 Canst thou draw out leviathan
with an hook? or his tongue with a cord which thou lettest down?
2 Canst thou put an hook into his nose? or bore his jaw through
with a thorn?
3 Will he make many supplications unto thee? will he speak soft
words unto thee?
4 Will he make a covenant with thee? wilt thou take him for a
servant for ever?
15 His
scales are his pride, shut up together as
with a close seal.
18 By his neesings a light doth shine, and
his eyes are like the eyelids of the morning.
19 Out of his mouth go burning lamps, and sparks of fire
leap out.
20 Out of his nostrils goeth smoke, as out of a seething pot or
caldron.
21 His breath kindleth coals, and a flame goeth out of his
mouth.
24 His heart is as firm as a stone; yea, as hard as a
piece of the nether millstone.
31 He maketh the deep to boil like a pot:
he maketh the sea like a pot of ointment.
33 Upon earth there is not his like, who is made without
fear.
34 He beholdeth all high things: he is a king over
all the
children of pride.
Isaiah 27:1:
In that day the LORD with his sore and great and strong sword shall
punish
leviathan the
piercing serpent, even
leviathan
that
crooked serpent; and he shall slay
the dragon that
is in the sea.
Ezekiel 28:
13
Thou hast been in Eden the garden of
God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius,
topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the
sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of
thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that
thou wast created.
14
Thou art the anointed cherub
that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain
of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of
fire.
15
Thou wast perfect in thy
ways from the day that
thou wast
created, till
iniquity was found in
thee.
16
By the multitude of thy merchandise
they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast
sinned: therefore
I will cast thee as
profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O
covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.
17
Thine heart was lifted up
because of thy beauty,
thou hast
corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast
thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold
thee.
18
Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by
the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy
traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst
of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the
earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.
19 All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at
thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt thou be any more.
Revelation 9:
13 And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four
horns of the golden altar which is before God,
14 Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet,
Loose the four angels which are bound in the
great river Euphrates.
15 And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an
hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of
men.
Revelation 12:
1 And there appeared
a great wonder in heaven;
a woman
clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a
crown of twelve stars:
2 And
she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and
pained to be delivered.
3 And there appeared
another wonder in heaven; and behold
a great red dragon, having seven heads and
ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.
4
And his tail drew the third part of
the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and
the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to
devour her child as soon as it was born.
5 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations
with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his
throne.
6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place
prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred
and threescore days.

the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved
not their lives unto the death.
1 John 3:
8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth
from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that
he might destroy the works of the devil.
9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed
remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
1 John 5:
4 For whatsoever is born of God
overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh
the world, even our faith.
5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he
that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?
18 We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he
that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him
not.
19 And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in
wickedness.
20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an
understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that
is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal
life.
Hebrews 2:
14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood,
he also himself likewise took part of the same; that
through death he might destroy him that had
the power of death, that is, the devil;
15 And deliver them who through fear of death were all their
lifetime subject to bondage.
16 For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took
on him the
seed of Abraham.
17 Wherefore in all things
it behoved him to be made like unto
his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in
things pertaining to God,
to make reconciliation for the sins of
the people.
18 For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able
to succour them that are tempted.
