2009-this reeked-i thought this was going to be some cheese filled fun flick, over the top, maybe tongue in cheek-a nazi vampire in the u.s.a
open in 1936-an immigrant german family receives a letter from the fatherland.  they want to send a historical researcher for some lame reason.
in reality, he's a nazi researcher on the occult.  hitler and company looking for eternal live, need rune stones.  this family unearthed one when the farm was built.

to present day-evan's brother vanished on blood creek 2 years ago.  invalid dad blames evan for losing vic.
vic shows up.  needs evan's help.  he'd been held on that same farm by that same family, now aged onl 5 years-i think the only reason 5 years went by was so they could have a hot 17 yr old girl instead of a cute 12 yr old.
vic had been tortured and his blood let to appease the nazi-now he's not a vampire exactly but some creature needing blood for his ceremonies in gaining eternal life.
once war broke out the nazi was stuck there.  the family "contained" him-they bring victims for his ceremonies so he's not unleashed on the world.
silly beyond description with lousy acting.  a waste of gore.  did have the best demonic horse fx i ever saw.

I was rather disappointed in it as well. The trailer made it look so
good. Unfortunately, the trailer was better than the damn movie.

We watch bad movies so you don't have to. I can see it now. A line up of
slightly effeminate zombies dancing and singing 'It's Raining Brains,'
to the tune of 'It's Raining Men.'
