"Forever Evil" (1987) Marc Denning and a group of friends are having a
get together at his backwoods cabin. Soon enough all but Mark are
slaughtered by some unknown super-natural force. He later meets up
with a gal named Reggie (of all things) and together they investigate
the massacre. The twosome then enlist the help of Leo the chief of
police and with much ambiguity he joins on to try to do away with the
beast.
The hard to follow if not arcane plot goes all over the place. Every
now and again new characters appear for seemingly no reason. The
acting is every bit as hideous as the dialogue to go along with
abhorrent FX's.
Don't walk....run from this one.
The title is indeed correct as the 2 hour running time seems to go on
"forever".
