I think we've mentioned this flick before....."Route 666" (2001) may
be one of the worse movies I've ever loved. Got to see it today uncut
on The Movie Channel HD which was of course far better than the SyFy
version. The dialogue was pretty much one oneliner after another. Most
were delivered by Steven Williams, who was being taken to court via
the Witness Protection Program by US Marshals.
I really like most of Lou Diamond Phillips stuff, this one included.
Lori Petty sucked perfectly.
The chaingang zombies in spite of the low budget fx's were very good
imho.
My only question was the jackhammer one of the convicts used.....how
did it work ?? No extention cord or air compressor of any
description.
Maybe I'm over thinking this one.....I guess with "art" such as this,
ya just gotta go with it.
Bad by any standards.....loved it.
