2016-maria and michael live in india.

she is distraught over the death of her young son, oliver, for which she blames herself.

she, oliver and daughter lucy were caught in a bad rain storm, went off a bridge into a body of water.

she and lucy managed to get out.

her housekeeper tells her there is a way to speak to oliver one last time, say a final goodbye.

take his ashes, go to a temple out in the middle of nowhere. do this and that then lock the door.

no matter how much he pleads, do not open that door.

well, we would not have much of a movie if she listened.

bad shit happens.

this was a pretty decent evil spirit/ghost tale. pretty well told. the cycle of reincarnation had been interrupted so oliver was now evil, he should not have been drawn back into this world.

the ending looked like it was going to be a good 'un.

then they did that dumb-ass thing they do so often. if not for that i would have given this another half a chew.

worth a watch though.
