REAL STEEL-charlie used ti be a boxer.  now robots box instead of guys.  charlie takes rickety robots on the underground circuit.  he owes money to thugs.

he is reunited with his 11 yr old son, whom he has never really had any contact with, when his mom dies, charlie's ex-girlfriend.

they bond.  salvage a very rickety robot to eventually challenge the champ.

silly.  predictable.  i wonder if rocky and apollo creed got any credit, oh and mr miyugi,
