Odyssey has an immediate need for a long term consulting engagement for our Statement of Work Project
Remote till June 2022 (maybe hybrid later?? nothing set)
Dallas, TX
Rate: 75 hour W2 or C2C - market rate
Sr. Java Backend developer 12 – 15 Years’ experience level
Modern Tech stack Java/ Microservices
Airline Industry a Plus
Required Skills:
- Java version 1.8 or higher
- Microservice Architecture
- Restful webservices
- Linux/Unix
- Spring
- Hibernate for Database Access
- SQL (Oracle preferred) for Database
- Git for Version Control of the code
- Build Tooling- Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, Nexus, Docker
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop applications based on the objectives and business requirements in the project.
- Develop technical designs for application development by interacting with Product Owners and Architects of the systems in an agile environment.
- Develop and enhance modules in the application using the technologies including Java/J2EE, spring, Hibernate, Gem fire, Elastic Search, Oracle.
- Develop Micro services and Restful services using Spring Boot for the application.
