AT&T is seeking a Lead Application Developer to shape the future of our application landscape in Plano, TX.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end design, development, and implementation for application features

Design and develop APIs, services, and data flows with upstream/downstream integrations

Provide hands-on development for complex, high-risk components

Enforce secure coding practices, code reviews, and testing strategies

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's in Computer Science + 7+ years progressive software development experience

Advanced expertise: Java, Spring Boot (REST, MVC, Security), Microservices

Hands-on experience with agentic AI, AI-assisted development, LLM-based patterns, Python, LangChain/LangGraph

Skilled in AI tools: GitHub Copilot, Claude, Windsurf, agent-based coding

Strong proficiency: Docker, Kubernetes, Bitbucket, Kafka, Jenkins, Git, OpenShift, AKS, cloud-native development

Telecom industry knowledge preferred

Proven Agile leadership: solution design, backlog management, sprint/release planning

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary: $143,800 - $215,800 annually
