This position can be fulltime, contract or contract to hire. (Must be US Citizen, Green Card or EAD) No h1b transfers or C2C subcontracting.)

  • For contract role Twilio will be required.
  • Salary 130 -140K
  • Contract rate : 70 – 90 an hour w2

 

 

One of our clients is seeking a Senior Java AWS Developer who can work on W2! This is remote, however the candidate needs to be able to work 8am-5pm CST.  

This is a Backend Java/Microservices/ AWS SW Engineer role.  Ideal candidate will have experience  with communication platform like Twilio or Sendgrid.

 

The keys to land this position is someone who has a minimum of 3-4 years’ experience  with AWS and able to work with Twilio. They will be implementing this communications platform for marketing.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of Customer Communication and Marketing Execution.  

 

Qualifications

  • BS in Computer Science or related field
  • 5 – 10 years of programming experience building high quality software.
  • 2+ years of implementing and configuring Marketing and Communication solutions: email, SMS, chat, automated bots, and custom development using web based, cloud architecture and micro-services.
  • 2+ years of experience with integrating internal and external systems using a variety integration patterns (ETL, web services, and real-time messaging)
  • Cloud Platforms (AWS), Serverless architecture and Java RESTful API Development is required.
  • 2+ years of experience with GIT, Jenkins, NodeJS, ReactJS, AWS lambda, SNS, SQS, ElasticSearch, S3, DynamoDB is required.
  • 1+ years of experience with communication platforms such as Twilio/Sendgrid
  • Certifications – AWS Certified developer is preferred.
  • Ability to design highly available systems with fallback capability.
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of development processes and agile methodologies
  • Experience with preparing systems for peak seasons
  • Experience developing and leveraging relationships in cross-functional teams
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Possess a strong sense of urgency, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
