JOB TITLE JAVA/J2EE Programmer – Two positions

RATE $60.00 per hour C2C

LENGTH 7 months with possible extension

LOCATION Gaithersburg, MD

Looking for local consultants to Gaithersburg, MD – 50miles radius ONLY

Note: US Citizen /Green Card holders okay, but cannot accept H1 people for this position

Task Description: Developer to design and develop J2EE/Java components in compliance with project guidelines, perform testing and integration, maintain Java components as required.

Primary Duties:

• Design and develop J2EE/Java components as part of the project solution in compliance with project guidelines – 50%
• Perform unit and development level integration testing as needed – 15%
• Perform code maintenance based on needs of customer testing, and production issues. – 15%
• Support of integration of project infrastructure components with remainder of the application – 10%
• Documentation of software design and code – 10%

Skills:
• Java and J2EE (Web Services, JMS, EJB’s, MDB’s and JMX) development
• Oracle and SQL
• Rational Application Developer or Eclipse
• Rational ClearCase/ClearQuest
• Software Engineering methodology

Nice to have:
• Experience with Jython scripting language
• Experience with IBM MQ Series Administration
• Experience with Hibernate
