Kabul Municipality Worker

Dear all,

 

I came to know that few days back, an employee of Kabul Municipality who was cleaning streets has been hit with knife by some people for the crime of not taking their personal garbage from their home.

 

He is in a critical condition at Ali Abad Hospital... he was the only person helping his family.

 

I don't know if Farkhunda jan could confirm this and could find his address so that Jahesh could help his family.

Dear Mirwais Jan,

 

Yes, It is confirmed that an old sanitation person (65 years of age) was stabbed in district 6 by some people because they are not happy with Kabul Municipality's work in that area and they claim that they have not been given any attention by KM so far. The man was the only bread winner of the family and I would be so pleased if we could all go and meet him at the hospital and help his family.
