Dear all,

For those who are based in Delhi, as you may be aware that a memorial
lecture series has been organised in the memory of late Shri Lal Advani, a
blind civil servant, who has made the greatest contribution to the field of
disability during the second half of the last century. This year the
lecture will be delivered by Mr T. D. Dhariyal, who is currently the
disability commissioner in Delhi government and is considered to be one of
the most committed persons in the field of disability. The topic for this
year's lecture is: "Effectiveness of Disability Rights Legislations". It
will be chaired by Mr Prasanna Kumar Pincha, former Chief commissioner on
disability, Government of India. The lecture is open to all and it will be
followed by lunch. It will take place at 10:15 a.m. on 26th April (Friday),
at Conference Hall, Hindu College, Delhi University Campus, Delhi-110007.
