The Twins lost to the Rays yesterday by a score of 12 to 5 at Target Field in Minneapolis.

For Tampa Bay: 12 runs, 14 hits, 0 errors.
The winning pitcher was J P Howell who is 2 and 1.
The losing pitcher was Alex Burnett who is 2 and 5.
The game was played in 3 hours and 34 minutes in front of a crowd of 39,841.
After being held to just two runs while dropping the first two games of their series against the Twins, the Rays scored a dozen in the finale, including long balls from Kelly Shoppach, Sean Rodriguez and Evan Longoria.
Tonight the Twins take on the White Sox at U. S. Cellular Field in Chicago at 7:10 pm.
