The Twins beat the White Sox last night by a score of 8 to 5 at U. S. Cellular Field in Chicago.
For Minnesota: 8 runs, 14 hits, 0 errors.
For Chicago: 5 runs, 11 hits, 0 errors.
The winning pitcher was Nick Blackburn who is 7 and 6.
The losing pitcher was Gavin Floyd who is 6 and 9.
Matt Capps picked up his 14th save.
The game was played in 3 hours and 22 minutes in front of a crowd of 27,737.
Trailing 5-1 after the first, the Twins rode a six-run fourth, capped by Luke Hughes' three-run homer, to improve to 6-0 against the White Sox. Minnesota has won nine in a row vs. Chicago and nine straight at U.S. Cellular Field.
