Mangarh- Chitrakut Trip:

This year's Holi celebration at Mangarh was very special for me because it was my first visit to gurudham, Mangarh. Located at 3 hours drive from Lucknow airport, Mangarh is a very peaceful place. The serene atmosphere, intense spiritual vibrations of the Bhakti Mandir & Sri Maharaji's satsang is simply beyond description of words. I stayed there for 5 days and those were the happiest and peaceful days of my life. Getting Sri Maharaji's darsan, keertans at Bhakti Mandir, satsang & speech by Sri Maharaji and so many other innumerable events that took place at Mangarh, are so vividly present in my memory. I miss them all and fear that the influence of the  material world and daily chores of life will soon fade these cherished memories from my mind.

I was so fortunate that I also got the opportunity to attend sadhana sivir at Chitrakut under the divine guidance of Swami Sri Mukundanandaji. Chitrakut is a 6 hrs drive away from Mangarh. The sadhana sivir started on 24th March at 3 pm with prayers and aarti. About 1500 people from Orissa, Gujarat, Delhi, USA, Nepal attended it and it continued till 27th March 9pm. The program started early in the morning at 4.45am with Yog class, then aarti, prayers, then sadhana. We had breaks in between for lunch. Swamiji explained "Narad Bhakti Darsan". There was keertans, meditation (dhyan), cultural programs, parikrama etc. Swamiji was always present in the sadhana hall; which was a big inspiration and motivation for all the devotees. Swamiji took the devotees to all the important historical places of spiritual significance. For example: to Kamadgiri hillock, to Ramghat, to Janaki Kunda, to Spthatik sheela, to Shri Maharaji's school etc. Swamiji's explanation of those places was simply divine. He took all the devotees leading keertans all the way.

4 days sadhana sivir at Chitrakut under divine guidance of Swamiji passed so quickly. I feel very fortunate to be able to attend it. It was a life-changing experience. It was most peaceful experience. I miss all those days as I get back to my daily chores of everyday life. I express my gratitude to Sri Maharaji and Sri Swamiji for giving me this opportunity to be able to attend Holi & Chitrakut sadhana sivir.
