Hey guys,

I'm new on this JFeatureLib and I can't seem to fully wrap my head around it. For my bachelor thesis (computer science) I'm trying to distinguish spoofing attacks on a facial recognition system from actual authentication attempts.
So shortly: I have two images. One is a real face, the other is a fake face (it's a picture of a picture). With LocalBinaryPatterns I should be able to distinguish the difference and I want to use JFeatureLib to make this work.
Now I can get the csv-file from a single image with JFeatureLib. But is there someway as to graphically present this data? Can I make an image out of it such as for example shown here: http://bytefish.de/blog/local_binary_patterns/ ?
I realize that I will need a classifier later on in the process to distinquish the difference between the fake and real images, but for now I just want to display what the LBP did, so I can see if I could distinguish one from another myself.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks ahead.

Greetings,
Rien

Hi Rien,

Great to hear that you are using Jfeaturelib! Unfortunately I don't know about any visualization of the LBP features.

You could have a look into the code how the feature vector is constructed. It should not be too complicated.

Good luck
Franz
