Salary Range: $58,000 – $72,000

About the Role
The team is seeking a News Translator to support the production of English-language news content. This position plays a vital role in translating and refining articles for publication across English-language platforms and partner distribution services.



Key Responsibilities
Translate news articles, headlines, and captions from Japanese to English
Edit and proofread translations for clarity, accuracy, and alignment with editorial standards
Conduct research and fact-checking to ensure content reliability
Support additional editorial work as needed
Requirements
Proficiency in both Japanese and English
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field
Prior experience in a translation setting
Strong research and verification skills
Effective communication and collaboration skills for hybrid work
