Description:
A Japanese Infrastructure Services Company is currently looking for a Temp to hire, entry level Sales Assistant to join their Houston, TX team.

This role provides the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both sales operations and client engagement within the IT and civil engineering sector.

The Sales Assistant will support the Sales Manager with CRM operations, administrative tasks, and client communications, while also delivering professional presentations to city officials.

DOE and skills, the pay range for this position would be between the 45k-50k mark with great benefits.

Your essential duties would be as follows:
- CRM Operations: Input and update client/contract data, monitor city websites for changes in officials, ensure accuracy of records.
- Administrative Support: Draft quotations and invoices, coordinate internal approvals, support basic accounting (vouchers/expenses).
- Client Presentations: Prepare and deliver professional presentations to city officials (City Managers, Public Works Directors, City Councils, etc.) alongside the Sales Manager.
- Scheduling & Coordination: Arrange meetings and presentations, coordinating with internal/external stakeholders.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain internal sales documentation, update CRM activity, and support reporting for management reviews.
- Customer Contact (Support Role): Assist the Sales Manager with follow-ups via email and phone.
- Marketing Support: Contribute to newsletters and marketing materials targeted at municipalities.
- Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as directed by Management.

Please consider the following qualifications when applying:

- Strong communication and presentation skills, with confidence to present from day one
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
- Flexible, eager to learn, and adaptable to dynamic business needs
- Computer proficiency in MS Office
- Texas driver’s license with a good driving record
- Previous sales or business experience preferred but not required
- Japanese proficiency would be a plus, but it is not required.
