Position: Linux Admin

Location: Orlando, FL

Duration: 3 to 6 Months Contract

 

Hourly Rate: $40.00 -- MAX

 

Job Description:

• Expertise in Installation, configuration and maintenance of Linux Servers

• Experience in Installation and configuration of HA environment using VERITAS Cluster & Red Hat Cluster Suite

• Expert knowledge Account and Printer administration

• Practical knowledge of configuration and administration of Linux LVM and VERITAS volume manager

• In depth knowledge of Patch and package administration

• In depth knowledge of Installing and Maintaining Linux Kickstart environment

• Basic hands on Identify system performance bottleneck and tune the system for optimal performance

• Good hands on knowledge in tuning of kernel parameters

• Expertise in writing shell scripts

• Good understanding of SAN environment, HBA Configuration

• Expertise console device Administration

• Proficiency in troubleshooting Hardware and Operating system related issues

• Advance knowledge of capacity planning and fine tuning system for optimal performance

• Good knowledge of Installation, configuration and Administration of Netbackup environment

• Good knowledge of administration of NIS or LDAP environment

• Good experience in System Fault Tolerance Design, Disaster recovery & continuity plan

• Advance knowledge of configuring  Linux Security baseline
