Position: Oracle 11G Admin

Location: Skokie, IL

Duration: 3 months plus

 

Must-haves

• 5+ years experience PL/SQL

• 3+ years experience with integration technologies

• 5+ years experience with Relational database: Oracle 10g

• 3+ years experience with Oracle SOA integration (BPEL, ESB)

• Strong understanding of all aspects of WebLogic 11g Suite and Oracle 11g SOA Suite (configuration/admin/problem resolution/testing)

 

Plusses

•Experience or familiarity with the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) a plus

•Experience with the High Technology or Computer Distribution industries is preferred.

 

Day-to-Day

This role’s main focus will be the functional validation and technical requirements building of Oracle EBS related application data extracts. Must be able to work independently and collaboratively with little direction, and handle changing priorities of a project team.

Working with the business owners, business analysts, and the IT Architect, participate as a technical member of the IT team. This position's primary responsibility provides Oracle E-Business application development within various programs for various projects and environments, including developing code, configuring concurrent manager programs and request sets, troubleshooting, tuning, installation, and deployment to various environments.

 

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support, plan, conduct, and/or coordinate the testing and implementation of software

• Ensure technical and validation documentation is completed as needed throughout the project lifecycle and support efforts to maintain a validated system state

• Responsible for design, configuration, and implementation of EBS data extracts

• Responsible for implementation and configuration of external interface formats (XML, Flat Files)

• Ensure connectivity and transaction integrity with external targets

• Recognize key areas that need input from others and incorporate those resources as needed
