Taisei Kensetsu Opened an Exhibition to Commemorate 140th Anniversary

Dear Colleagues,
This exhibition opened on January 21, 2013 at Shinjuku Center Biru where the company has headquarter. The exhibition includes Shashi, photos and models. The exhibition will be closed on January 25 (only 5 days?!) and traveling to Sendai, Nagoya, Osaka, etc.
It is interesting that this year is 120th anniversary of Obayashigumu and 140th anniversary of Taisei Kensetsu.

１４０周年の記念展、大成建設が開催、社史や工法紹介

大成建設は２１日、創業１４０周年の記念展を本社のある新宿センタービル（東京・新宿）で始めた。社史や手がけた物件を写真などで説明し、同社が開発した独自工法を模型で紹介する。山内隆司社長＝写真＝は「国内外の実績や最先端の技術を知ってもらい、建設業の魅力を広めたい」と挨拶、積極的な情報発信を通じ人材の確保につなげる考えを示した。
展示は創業者の大倉喜八郎が取り組んだ事業のほか、日本近代化と同社の歩みを映像とパネルを組み合わせて紹介する。また現在トルコで進めているボスポラス海峡横断トンネル工事の実物の２００分の１サイズの模型を製作、展示中だ。
新宿センタービルで２５日まで開催するほか、今後は仙台や名古屋、大阪といった全国の支店などにも会場を設けて展示を巡回するという。
