PBS Documentary about JA to Debut May 10thMade Possible: The Business of Junior Achievement is an hour-long documentary about the past, present and future of Junior Achievement. Produced by Connecticut Public Television and narrated by JA alumna and ABC News Anchor Juju Chang, the documentary includes stories on how JA impacted the lives of alumni such as Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban and CNN Host Dr. Sanjay Gupta. The documentary will be made available to PBS stations beginning May 10th, 2019. Check your local listings for showing times!

JA Releases Study that Shows Changes in “Disconnected Youth” Over Past Five Decades
A new study for Junior Achievement USA by the Washington, DC-based Population Reference Bureau shows changes from 1970 to 2017 in the characteristics of "disconnected youth," young people between the ages of 16 and 24 who are not employed nor enrolled in school. The study, which uses data from the U.S. Census Bureau, shows that the percentage of females who are considered "disconnected" fell dramatically during the past nearly five decades while the percentage of disconnected males has risen slightly over time.
