JA “Launches” into National Entrepreneurship Month
November is National Entrepreneurship Month. To celebrate, Junior Achievement is bringing entrepreneurs from across the country into high school classrooms to share their entrepreneurial journeys as part of JA Launch Lesson. The initiative, made possible through the support of EY, reached 80,000 students in 2017 and is expected to impact even more this year.

JA and Jackson Team up to Teach Kids how to “Earn, Save, Spend and Donate"
Junior Achievement has partnered with Jackson Charitable Foundation and Dr. Alice Wilder, Executive Producer of Cha-Ching Money Smart Kids, to redevelop the JA Our City® program. Designed for 3rd graders, the revised program uses fun, animated characters to teach students important lessons about how to “Earn, Save, Spend and Donate.”

New research from Junior Achievement and AIG shows that one-third of teens think they can retire on savings of $5,000 and half of teens don’t know what a 401K is, re-enforcing the need for financial literacy education.
