Position : UI/Java Developer with GWT experience
Location: Boca Raton, FL
Duration: 6 months+ possible extension
Job Summary:
Develops enterprise-class User Interfaces for customer-facing for SOA-based systems. Development responsibilities for enterprise Operational Support Systems (OSS). Will have high-profile, demanding position within the Development team, providing creative solutions and frameworks corporate-wide. Hands-on practical experience is a must!
Duties:
• Translates business requirements and user experience guidelines to design and implement front-end business applications while working closely with other developers, business analyst and customer users.
Designs software applications using technical programming languages to insure a first class impressive and intuitive user interface.
• Evaluates prototypes and recommends Web UI technologies.
• Performs advanced troubleshooting.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineer, Physical Science or related technical field. Equivalent experience will be considered.
Ten years plus of experience, which includes five years of Java programming experience, and five years of experience in systems UI development GWT and/or ExtGWT a MUST!!Effective verbal, written, documentation and presentation skills required. Independent problem solver and self-directed, with a consistent ability to follow through on commitments.
Special Skills:
• Expert knowledge of Java, GWT/ExtGWT, Ajax, CSS, JavaScript is required.
• Experience required in the following areas: Servlets and JSP/JSTL; Spring/Hibernate, annotations and configuration; Eclipse; and JUnit.
• Prefer experience with DBUnit; RESTful web services; and SVN or source management.
