Salamalaikum!
We will have our second Deen and Dine of the fall semester, tomorrow in the Sacred Space at 6pm, InshaAllah. We hope to see you then!
We will hold group fasts on Mondays and Thursdays, just like the Sunnah. We will break fast at Deen and Dine and at Qur’an class. Each person who successfully completes a fast from sunrise until sunset (suhoor is not mandatory, but encouraged) will receive a ticket. At the end of the semester, all the tickets will be placed into a basket and one will be drawn randomly. The name that is pulled out receives a prize. We add up all the fasts and see how many we can gather throughout the semester. InshaAllah, we will begin on Thursday, September 22nd.
