Wichita, KS is running its first Confrontation Tournament!!
Hosted by Agents Comics and Games (http://www.agentscomics.com/)
I talked with the guys at Agent and have setup a Confrontation
Tournement for March 4th.

I will work on updating this post as more particulars get ironed out,
if you have any questions post or send me an email rwie...@gmail.com.
Confrontation has just started getting a foothold in the Wichita gaming
scene and we are using this tournament to bring in even more interest.
If you are in Kansas City, Independence, Topeka, Salina, or the
surrounding area come on down and get in a day of gaming.

Date: Saturday 3/4/06

Arrival Time: ~10:30 (Gives us time to get organized and BS for a bit
before starting)
Games Start Time: 11:00

Entry Fee: $10.00 (goes completely towards prizes)

Tourney will be standard C3 NACORD rules. The rules that are in the
back of the Confronation rule book will apply to army construction. I
would prefer that you had all the models (no proxies).

3 rounds of scenario based play, with scenarios coming for the NACORD
list.

A painted army is not required but there will be a "Best painted army"
and "Best painted solo" award

Rounds will last 105 minutes or 6 rounds (which ever is shorter) with a
break for lunch after round 1.

Agents Comics and Games is located at 817 W. Douglas, just a minute or
two north of Kellog/54.

Unfortunately, on that particular weekend I'll be in Lawton Oklahoma
participating in the 12 Miles of Hell mountain bike race. The weekends
before or after (that one) would have been great.
:(
I'll try to catch the next tournament.

Just a reminder to everyone. Tomorrow is the Confrontation Tournament
at Agents. Start will be at 11am but if you could be there around
10:30am it will help with the organization. I hope to see you there.

Good luck with the tournament tomorrow guys.
I'll be down in Lawton, Oklahoma riding over 15 miles of tank tracks and
bike trails at Ft. Sill. The forecast is for drizzle, light rain showers,
and temps around 70.
What fun...
:)
I hope to see a full report on the tournament, and I'll try to make the next
one.

Thanks to everyone who participated in the tournament, it was a good
time. The results are as follows (for those who haven't seen the
boards):

Tournament Winner - Luke
Sportsman Winner - Greg
Best Painted - Russ

I am starting to plan the next tournament since there has been interest
expressed in running additional events. I hope that more people will
be able to show up. If there is any input that people have about the
tournament that would make it better don't hesitate to send it to me.
Thanks again for participating.
