I'm sure some of you have already heard of the Public Policy Polling results that show that 30% of Republican voters favor bombing Agrabah, the fictional kingdom from the Disney movie Aladdin. The results showed that 30% favored and 19% opposed the bombing among those expressing an opinion. Among Dems it was 19% in favor and 36% opposed to the bombing. I think it is more relevant as a comment on the sad state of the American educational system (Is geography even recognized as a subject anymore?) than one on the prejudices of the various political parties. After all, it shows that while 43% of Republican voters had an opinion on bombing a fictional country, the Democrats managed to garner a majority of 55% of their voters who felt strongly enough to register an opinion on the fictional bombing strategy...

And it's reported in the Guardian.  How embarrassing!  The Guardian loves to chortle over these pratfalls....and they probably have a whole desk dedicated to them.
