Ever wonder why movies cost so much money? Because things like cars
(or their costs) don't mean a thing during stunt scenes. You'd
essentially plan for buying the most expensive cars just to have them
destroyed. Well, in the most recent James Bond movie, 'Casino Royale',
3 Aston Martins, each costing $300,000 US Dollars a piece were driven
to smithereens.

I personally can't wait for when graphic silmulations can get that
real when Hollywood would not need to waste money like that when there
are countless people worldwide who can't buy a meal in a day. I'd
celebrate the advancement of technology when it can do things like
save some money. Even the destruction of the beautiful cars is hurtful
when I need one myself. Of course, I am very well aware that saved
funds do not mean more people have enough to eat or that I would get a
free Aston Martin. I know very well it's just going to go into someone
else's pocket in Hollywood's scheme of things but... at least I won't
wince hearing about the deliberate destruction of such beautiful man
made items.
