A disabled graduate from METU is now doing an MSc at a university in
Germany. He still has not disclosed.

1. Could you tell me then German name / words that the student
should ask for?
2. How is disability support organised at German universities?
3. What is the disability law/ legislation?
4. How are the needs organised: how are the adjustments paid for?
5. ... and any other information that could be useful.

At the moment we have 2 visually impaired German Erasmus students at
METU. I will ask them the same questions, but would like to hear from
you too.

Do any of you know about disabled students on Erasmus exchanges? How
can we best maximise their experience?
One idea that came up last week is that the German Embassy in Ankara
is interested in discussing this.

Best wishes,
Claire Ozel
