help! about actuary

As is known to all, actuary is a promising as well as respectable
job. Therefore, we get interested in the development of this
profession, and we are preparing to make a study of it. However, we
have trouble in obtaining enough statistics about it. Firstly, data
offered by www.soa.org only concern with the recent years, while what
we need is expected to include much more years,at least 50 to 80
years is needed. Secondly, among the actuaries, we can not distinguish
between actuaries from and actuaries from other parts of the world.
What we need is just the numbers of the members over the
years(more years are desirable) in addition to their
nationalities(American or non American). We will be greatful if any
information is provided.
