Job Description – BI Report Developer This is a newly formed position for a contract employee to perform full lifecycle software development on multiple projects, most notably the Customer Visibility Portal.   The successful candidate will develop multiple Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Dashboards using a commercially available Business Intelligence (BI) reporting platform.   The role includes, but is not limited to the following:   1.      Work with the Data Warehouse team and other organizations to formulate methods to calculate various KPI’s. 2.      Develop the needed backend queries to generate those KPI’s 3.      Design the layout of the KPI Dashboards 4.      Develop the KPI Dashboards using a commercial BI platform 5.      Work with the Portal Developers to assure the dashboard seamlessly integrates into the portal.   Requirements Ø  3+ years working as a developer on commercial BI Reporting Systems Ø  3+ years developing complex queries in languages such as SQL and PL/SQL Ø  2+ years working directly with Data Warehouses Ø  B.S in a technical discipline Ø  Basic knowledge of Java; Hands-on development experience preferred Ø  Exposure to WebFocus strongly preferred Ø  Portal experience preferred Ø  Ability to work onsite in Brentwood TN   Contract Duration 9-12 months initial term.
