Build custom query to create a view

Hi, I'd like to create a complicated query that needs to go into several different namespaces in order to gather data, and squash it into a view.  Is this possible?  Can you write a "custom class view" like you can a custom class query? I'd like it to be a view so that I can use it in a tablepane.  Or, can a custom class query be used in a tablepane as well?
