We are pleased to announce that online registration for DEVCON2008 is

on or before March 10, 2008 to receive the early bird discount!

DEVCON is an unparalleled opportunity to get together with
InterSystems executives and developers, and your colleagues in the
InterSystems community. It will feature informative sessions, hands-on
tutorials, and plenty of opportunities for in-depth conversations.

Dr. John D. Halamka will give a talk entitled "Connecting Patients,
Payers, and Providers" on Tuesday, April 1st at 9:00 AM. Dr. Halamka
is Chief Information Officer of the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical
Center, Chief Information Officer and Associate Dean for Educational
Technology at Harvard Medical School, Chairman of the New England
Health Electronic Data Interchange Network (NEHEN), CEO of MA-Share,
Chair of the Healthcare Information Technology Standards Panel
(HITSP), and a practicing Emergency Physician.

Bruce Schneier is the founder and CTO of Counterpane Internet
Security, Inc., the world's leading protector of networked information
-- the inventor of outsourced security monitoring and the foremost
authority on effective mitigation of emerging IT threats. Described by
The Economist as a "security guru," Schneier is best known as a
refreshingly candid and lucid security critic and commentator. On
Wednesday, April 2nd, Mr. Schneier will talk about "Security: What
Works and What Doesn't".
