SourceMedical is currently seeking a Sr. Software Developer for our
Office located in Branford, CT:


Summary of Position:

SourceMedical utilizes the InterSystems Caché & Ensemble DBMS IDE’s in
conjunction with a user interface developed in Microsoft .Net/C# to
provide a rich suite of application modules that are deployed in both
LAN and WAN environments.

The Senior Software Developer will create and modify computer
applications by converting project requirements and specifications
into code and will be responsible for analysis, design, coding,
testing, debugging and documenting database applications in both
existing and new system modules. The candidate should be able to work
independently in all phases of system architecture, development and
trouble shooting.


Qualifications: SourceMedical is seeking qualified candidates with
the following or work related experience:

Mandatory:

--8+ years prior experience as a software/database developer
--Strong Object oriented programming and SQL skills
--HTML/XML/SOAP/Web Services experience
--Full understanding of Object Oriented Programming concepts
--Strong written and verbal communications skills
--Strong track record of academic and work related achievements
--BS in Computer Science or equivalent

Desired but not required:
--Prior experience in DBMS environment
--Prior healthcare IT experience

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, self sufficient
individual who is able to work both independently or in a team
oriented structure.


Travel Requirements:

-Limited travel is required.
