Job Title: Business Systems Analyst with ITSM exp
Location: New York City, NY
Duration: 6+ month contract

 

Rate: $45/hr

 

Job Description:
MUST HAVE ITSM/HAVE LESS THEN 8 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE/AND COME FROM BIG 5 BACKGROUND. If you don't have experience with IT Service Manager, please don't apply. Must be ok with working 50-55 hours a week. Need to speak really clear.
MUST HAVE AT LEAST 8 YEARS OF BUSINESS ANALYST EXPERIENCE.
MUST BE ABLE TO WORK WITHOUT SPONSORSHIP
Working knowledge of HP Service Desk/Manager, Service-Now or equivalent
ITSM application suite. Preferred
Strong communication skills - Verbal and Written able to use Microsoft
PowerPoint, Visio etc...
Production Support
* Receiving service calls, analyze issues and requirements,
confirm service classification, service type, urgency and
business priority, and provide work around if it is available.
* Participate in the bridge call for a major incident, and
support to classify the impacted applications / businesses and
confirm the proposed mitigation / recovery plan is acceptable
from the business perspectives.
* Create User Guides and FAQ, and provide User Training (upon the
request) in order to enlighten the business users how to use Client
business applications correctly.
* Propose new Global Rules (which required due to system
constrains and work around).
Requirement Elicitation and Analysis
* Collect business requirements from business stakeholders using
appropriate elicitation techniques.
* Analyze business requirements, confirm its completeness and
consistence, and identify cross-functional, regional and
organizational impact and interdependencies.
Requirement Specification, Documentation and Communication
* Identify requirement development processes, create and manage
the plan (tasks, stakeholders, schedule)
* Define and maintain business requirements (including use cases)
and functional/non-functional specifications.
* Document requirements and specifications in enough detail to
deliver complete, consistent, easily understandable information
to both business and technical teams.
* Communicate requirements and specifications and ensure all
(business & technical) stakeholders have a common understanding
of requirements and how they will be implemented, and obtain
their sign-off.
Development & Quality Assurance Support
* Review and sign-off QA test plan and test cases, and ensure it
provide sufficient test coverage.
* Answer questions from QA Lead and DEV Lead about requirements.
Major Deliverables
* Business Requirement Documents
* Functional Specification Documents
* User Guide, FAQ, Global rules for system work around/constrains
