Job Title: SQL DBA
Location: Wilmington, DE
Duration: 6 month contract

 

Rate: $38/hr all inclusive

 

Skills Required:
• SQL Server 2000, 2005, 2008; RDBMS
Data Transformation Services (DTS) or SSIS
Experience writing complex SQL, triggers, and procedures.
• Ability to work with minimal direction, yet also able to work in team environment.
• Relational database analysis and modeling experience.
• Experience configuring database network connectivity.
• Understanding of database backup and recovery techniques.
• Experience in fast paced production or operational system arena.
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Hands on and ownership personality.

Job Responsibilities:
This position requires an individual capable of the day-to-day management of multiple Microsoft SQL Server environments. (Production, UAT and Development) The SQL Server DBA will participate in the administrative, support and analytical tasks related to the proper function and tuning of multiple MS SQL Server environments in a Team environment. The candidate will also be responsible for administering MS SQL Server data warehouses and repositories for reporting systems. The candidate works with several different teams include web development and end-user.
