Location : Chicago IL. (Prefer to be local/around area)
Duration : 6 months contract

Strong & Must have DataStage
8.x.
Strong & Must have SQL (DB2)
Good to have Tivoli, Java.
DataStage ETL Technical Lead Developer
This individual should have be able to prioritize work based on demand and provide some level of guidance to other staff.
He will be responsible to 80% of development, 10% technical lead working within team or communicating with other stakeholders supporting deployments, code reviews,
(System Analysts,QA) and 10% technical Design & documemtation.
In order to be successful in this role one needs to display following skills
Minimum of 10 years of work experience focused using DataStage for multi-terabyte Data warehouse in the area of ETL design, implementation, deploying.
In Depth Experience in DB2, write SQL, stored procedures, tuning rogue ETL jobs.
Experience integrating the components of the following DB2, Tivoli and Data Stage (ETL).
Experience in creating Technical Design & Implementing ELT solution for multi-terabyte Data Warehouse and understand its impacts.
Experience working with flat files, running ELT jobs concurrently.
Ability to conduct design review session with different stake holders.
Ability to conduct code review sessions with developer or his manager.
Anticipate and respond to customer needs; self starter and customer service oriented
Works within the team to make appropriate, effective decisions related to project responsibilities and
to initiate and follow-up on assigned tasks without supervision.
Provide support and guidance by creating Release,Deployment & Operation guide documents.

Unix/Aix scripting
