Job Title: QA Tester
Location: Tampa, FL
Duration: 12-month Contract.

 

Rate: $35/hr Corp to Corp.

 

Description:
Test Analyst will Execute manual and automation scripts
Executes test plans and/or test cases for specific automated test programs. Performs repeatable testing procedures and processes. Verifies triggers, stored procedures, referential integrity, hardware product or system specifications. Interprets and modifies code as required that may include .Net, C/C++, C# batch files, make files, Perl scripts, queries, stored procedures and/or triggers. Job scope includes writing automation test scripts for simulating user interactions such as data entry, menu selections, mouse actions, data I/O, etc. Requires application level configuration skills.

 

2 years software testing experience in a Web-based or Windows client/server environment required. Experience in development and/or database administration experience using a Microsoft product required. Experience with batch files and command-line Windows utilities may be required. Must have some knowledge of software quality assurance practices. Familiarity with C# may be asked to modify or add to automation scripts. Run BVT’s, troubleshoot, report and escalate as necessary as well as being familiar with .NET and SML framework may be required. Compiler preprocessor preferred. Knowledge of personal computer hardware may be required. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Technical Certifications preferred. Some business/functional knowledge preferred.
