This past Tuesday, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid announced plans for a vote on the DREAM Act as part of the National Defense Authorization Act. Also this week on Wednesday the Congressional Hispanic Caucus announced a three-part plan to pass the DREAM Act, introduce comprehensive immigration reform in the Senate, and press for relief through executive action. President Obama promised to put the full weight of his administration behind DREAM and comprehensive immigration reform.
