Dear Friends and Allies,
As you may know, millions of families across the nation continue to be divided by this country's broken immigration system.
Additionally, just a few days ago, Arizona's governor signed a so-called immigration bill which legalizes and institutionalizes racial profiling. According to Rep. Raul Grijalva (D-AZ), this punitive law has thrown Arizona into an economic black hole as the state braces itself to lose $700,000,000 in tax dollars from immigrants workers. Furthermore, the racial profiling endorsed by this policy is currently under review by US Attorney General Eric Holder on the grounds that it may be unconstitutional.
This is why more than a thousand immigrant families, students, community members, and leaders will march together in downtown Minneapolis this Saturday.
